New Book Announcement!

Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, ‘This man welcomes sinners and eats with them’” (Luke 15:1-2).

The remainder of the 15th chapter of the Gospel of Luke records three parables by which Jesus communicated His rationale for eating with “sinners”. These three parables, the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, and the Lost Son, are both basic teachings and profound promises of the Hope that is found in a relationship with God. ALL we who are lost are invited to return to the Father.

Conversations today are sprinkled with the word “hope” but the evidence is scarce in our world; disagreements, fighting, arguments, and even wars are rampant. We are in essence living in a time of hopelessness. Conversely, would it surprise you to learn that the word Hope is found approximately 170 times in the Bible? Join Kathryn in her third book, Even More Ransom Notes, as she scours daily life in search of nuggets of Hope. Start reading today to learn how Hope can be found in turtles, waffles, or even teddy bears.

On the Road with More Ransom Notes!

Kathryn was able to present her latest book to the JOY Bunch group at the Red Brush Christian Church in Louisville, IL in October. The audience listened to Kathryn’s stories and learned how to seek God in the little things of life. Contact us if you would be interested in having Kathryn speak to your group!

More Ransom Notes is available to order!

A farmer planting seed.
A son wanting to experience the world.
A scoundrel using weeds to sabotage an enemy’s crops.
A shepherd looking for a lost sheep.
A father inviting friends to his daughter’s wedding.
A traveler deviating from his journey to help a person in need.

These are all parables that Jesus told during his ministry on Earth. Jesus realized that lessons are best remembered when familiar situations are connected to keen observations. Kathryn employs this time-proven strategy throughout her essays by finding Jesus in the mundane of everyday life. You’ll find comfort from her life stories when facing the unknown. You’ll be encouraged through her wisdom and wit when facing difficult seasons in life.

Kathryn’s second book provides a blueprint of how to find God in everyday life.
When you start noticing God, you’ll begin to walk with joy.
